ALPINE LIONS CLUB ANNUAL ROSE SALE A BIG SUCCESS 

The Alpine Lions Club, and its members, completed its  Annual Lions Club Rose Sale on Friday, April 8-9.  Roses sold for $15.00 per dozen and all proceeds go towards Club projects for the community.  In addition, funds are contributed to the Sul Ross State University Scholarship Endowment. Sanderson Lions Club also participated in our annual sale. A total of 450 dozon roses were sold this year.

IMPORTANT DISTRICT CABINET DATES:

The first District 2-T3 District Cabinet meeting will be held July 29-30 in Alpine, Texas. There will be aFiday night event at Kokernot Lodge. On Saturday the regular Cabinet meeting will be held at the Sul Ross State University  Vic & Mary Jane Morgan univresity Center. Officer traing will be held in the afternoon.  We expect to have a great time by all who attend.  Registration forns should be available on the District @t# web site.

GET YOUR DISTRICT AND STATE PINS AS WELL AS DIRECTORIES

2011-2012 District and State Pins will be available from the District Pin Chairman. They are really GREAT!!  New 2011-2012 pins should be avaialbe at the first cabinet meeting in Alpine on July 29-30.
